OUR PEOPLE

Acute staff is considered to be the company’s most important asset. The current industry standard for cleaning companies is to employ approximately 30% full time and 70% part time staff. Acute employs 90% full time and 10% part time personnel, to develop professional cleaning staff. This philosophy allows us to provide a career development program for our employees. Each position with in the company has a documented job description and a “training needs analysis”. This identifies the minimum skill level required with in each position. Staff is actively encouraged to obtain these skills through the acute training program, and thus be eligible for promotion. The staff development program, multi skilling and continual refreshing and updating of skills has developed a professional and friendly team approach to ensure site presentation and customer satisfaction. Safety is the number one priority. In addition it is our company policy to train all employees to certificate II and III in Asset Maintenance-¬‐ Cleaning Operations after 3 months of employment.

QUALITY

Acute has developed documented job procures for the operation of all equipment, chemical usage methods for every task within a site, employees are trained in these procedures and managers regularly monitor performance to ensure a consistent level of site presentation is maintained.

The environment is also a major consideration in the Acute operational plan. Acute has developed a specific environmentally friendly plan with the objectives of reducing waste from every facet of its business operation. This is evident by the substitution of hazardous cleaning products with biodegradable non-toxic products. Staff awareness of environmental issues is addressed through the training program and staffs are actively encouraged to identify potential waste areas. The end result will be lower impact on the environment and lower site running costs. We will always work within the guidelines set by the client in order to conserve energy and we will continue to investigate new and improved environmentally friendly ways to improve the sites presentation.
